A recent example is Isaiah Thomas whom the Celtics traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in mart for Kyrie Irving despite the point baby-sit playing through an injury.
Thomas was ruled out for the remainder of the Eastern Conference Finals without Game 2 due to a hip injury.
