Lakers Ask Top Executives To Take 20 Percent Salary Deferral
The Los Angeles Lakers have asked the senior-level members of their front office to voluntarily defer 20 percent of their salaries.
The Lakers hope this will shield lesser-income employees from being asked to take a pay reduction due to COVID-19.
The NBA league office reduced based salaries by 20 percent for approximately 100 of their top-earning executives.
