Agreement Reached for Sale of Utah Jazz Franchise

After 35 years at the helm of the Utah Jazz, Gail Miller and the Miller family have agreed to sell the franchise to Ryan Smith, founder of Qualtrics, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Miller family has overseen the franchise since 1986. Since the passing of Larry H. Miller in 2009, Gail Miller has assumed control of the organization. In 2017, she ceded control of the organization to a legacy trust to ensure that the franchise remained in the state of Utah for generations.

More to come.
