Rodney Hood will decline his $6 million player option with the Portland Trail Blazers to become a free agent. Hood becomes one of the NBA\'s only players to decline an option for free agency this offseason.
Hood signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Blazers in 2019.
Hood suffered a torn Achilles last December.
