Suns To Sign Free Agent Jonah Bolden
The Phoenix Suns intend to sign free agent big man Jonah Bolden, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Australian stretch four was recently released by the Philadelphia 76ers.
While Bolden’s role with the Sixers in 2019-20 was minimal, he played more consistent minutes for the team last season. Now the 24-year-old will get another opportunity to carve out a role for himself at the big league level.
Bolden will join countrymate Aron Baynes in Phoenix’s front court and will look to show that the development he flashed in 2018-19 was no fluke. Bolden saw action in 44 games for Philly last season.
