Jeff Van Gundy Considered 'Leading' Candidate If Rockets Replace Mike D'Antoni
Jeff Van Gundy will \"likely (be) leading the way\" as a candidate for the head coaching job of the Houston Rockets should they not retain Mike D\'Antoni, sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic.
The last head coaching job Van Gundy had in the NBA was with the Rockets from 2003 until 2007.
Van Gundy has since been in broadcasting and also has been involved as a coach with USA Basketball.
Houston will also give Ty Lue \"a serious look.\"
