Markieff Morris Gave Back Entire 20-21 Salary In Buyout With Pistons
Markieff Morris gave back the most guaranteed salary in a buyout this season to buy his freedom from the Detroit Pistons.
Morris declined his $3.6 million player option for the 20-21 season as part of the buyout. Morris also gave back $940,113 in 19-20 salary.
But Morris signed with the Lakers for $1.75 million for the remainder of the season.
Morris should also recoup his 20-21 money by signing for at least the veteran minimum of $2.45 million for his experience level.
