Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times writes that Kenny Atkinson \"has a growing reputation as a bit of a self-promoter\" according to \"several current and former NBA coaches.\"
Atkinson is a candidate to become the next head coach of the Chicago Bulls.
Cowley adds that \"the Bulls just ridded themselves of a guy like that when they fired Jim Boylen last month.\"
Atkinson spent four seasons with the Brooklyn Nets and was fired in March.
