William Wesley Was 'Driving Force' In Knicks Replacing Glen Grunwald With Steve Mills In 2013

William \"World Wide Wes\" Wesley has reportedly been an influential figure within the New York Knicks organization for 15 years, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Wesley, who was recently hired as an executive vice president for the Knicks, was the \"driving force\" behind the team replacing Glen Grunwald with Steve Mills as GM in 2013.

Wesley and Leon Rose have a close relationship from their time with CAA.

“MSG and CAA have been in bed for years. This shouldn’t be surprising,\" a source told The Post in February when Rose was hired by the Knicks.

Sources also added that Wesley likes Jason Kidd as the Knicks search for a new head coach.
